this outfit is not something i would wear but i was just wondering why the light colors and the black Hijab and black shoes. I think it would have been better to add like a floral hijab in pastels and some different shoes. but everyone has there own style. and she still looks beautiful no matter if i like it or not.
I think the sister looks lovely in this photo. While I agree pastel hijab/shoes might suit better, I think she pulls it off nonetheless. I really like the way she wrapped her hijab! Very Gulf-y.
Hijabs High is inspired by the stylish and dynamic global community of Muslim women who fuse their identities and pronounce their place in the world everyday through beauty and fashion.
It is my hope that this blog inspires, motivates and encourages Muslims and non-Muslims alike to revisit their perceptions of the "look" of Muslim women who wear the veil and encourage us all to be a little bit more fabulous.
To the chic gang of Hijabs High photographers - you know who you are - thanks for doing it all with grace and panache. :)
Finally, Hijabs High owes a debt to The Sartorialist, who first helped focus our cameras on the everyday. Thank you.

I wouldnt wear pastels. Its too cute and twee. I think monochrome always works and the black and gold scarf gives it a bit of edge. Nice!
I agree with the first poster - a pastel blue hijab and shoes would work better with this ensemble.
i love the color contrast. white is so great with black!
