Hijabs High is inspired by the stylish and dynamic global community of Muslim women who fuse their identities and pronounce their place in the world everyday through beauty and fashion.
It is my hope that this blog inspires, motivates and encourages Muslims and non-Muslims alike to revisit their perceptions of the "look" of Muslim women who wear the veil and encourage us all to be a little bit more fabulous.
To the chic gang of Hijabs High photographers - you know who you are - thanks for doing it all with grace and panache. :)

Very nice casual outfit. I like the hijab styling; for additional one could put a simple al-Amira hood underneath. The effect is very positive masha'Allah.

mashallah! this has to be one of my favorites.... her face is weary yet strong and beautiful... a photo-journalist momentarily resting yet with the burden of her responsibilities still on her shoulders like the black back-pack ... a wonderful capture of the eyes behind the camera
I know her! She is a Turkish director and this photo was taken during shootings of a very beautiful documentary about Jerusalem... She is the director and her outfit is lovely mA; it reflects so much of her strong personality:)

Wow, then the hijab is even more remarkable masha'Allah - I would not have expected this look from a Turkish woman!
