absolutely love these two girls - their faces are beaming beautifully and the outfits are lovely too. And it's a double picture - a first for Hijabs High!
Beautiful! Maxi dresses have become really popular I hear but I have yet to find one that isn't made from a clingy or stretchy material that is too form-fitting. These dresses are very nice though, look like they're made from cotton maybe? Wish I could find this dress in the stores where I've seen maxi dresses, but no luck there yet.
I love maxi dresses and own a couple myself. I also tried those dresses myself but that material is really bad in terms of revealing the legs & shape. I recommend cotton dresses instead or maybe wearing jeans under those ones to cover your legs :)
I particularly like the blue one. Maxi dresses are just 2 cool. I bought some from New Look and a shop in Lakeside shopping centre which are cotton and look really nice. They do the job well so come highly reccommended!
Fatihah! Someone knows me! haha... Yea, as for the fabric being formfitting, it seemed to work well if you buy a size up. Forever 21 is great for these dresses and scarves too!
Hijabs High is inspired by the stylish and dynamic global community of Muslim women who fuse their identities and pronounce their place in the world everyday through beauty and fashion.
It is my hope that this blog inspires, motivates and encourages Muslims and non-Muslims alike to revisit their perceptions of the "look" of Muslim women who wear the veil and encourage us all to be a little bit more fabulous.
To the chic gang of Hijabs High photographers - you know who you are - thanks for doing it all with grace and panache. :)
Finally, Hijabs High owes a debt to The Sartorialist, who first helped focus our cameras on the everyday. Thank you.

Very pretty! I have pretty much lived in maxi dresses this summer.
Great pic. It really shows the cultural diversity of the Muslim community in America. Love the maxi dresses. You can never have too many.
