Very smart looking. Although it looks like her legs go way up to that buttoned button. :-)

Oh, very nice. Yes, I agree about the color scheme, everything's covered just so, even the feet... I like the effect!

Uhh...
I check this site everyday, got hooked on it.
However, while yes, all pictures are pictures of muslimas sporting hijabs, very few are of elegant/classy hijabis.
They're just, well, women wearing hijab.
Hm.
Still nice the idea.
Good luck!

Style is of course in the eye of the beholder so words like 'elegant' and 'classy' may be relative, but I think the point of this site is to transcend what's conventional and see fashion as part of a wider aesthetic movement in which of course Muslim women play an integral role. The most amazing thing about this particular picture is how simple pieces come together to create an overall look of grace and elegance. To me, that's what 'hijabistas' are all about. Beautiful picture, mashallah.

I think this girl looks awesome! It's not just about doing something 'new' all the time, sometimes the most classic look can be the most beautiful. I was instantly struck by the serenity in this picture, it's so different actually.

Life would be very boring if everything was always 'classy'. I want to see ordinary hijabis celebrated for once - for pulling off a t-shirt and jeans combo, or for simply doing something different!

this isn't a clothing catalogue so why should the styles be 'classy' - whatever that means...

There is DEFINITELY not 20 million Muslims in the Balkans. Oh dear, get your facts straight. Only 39 % of Bosnia for instance, is Muslim. And the fewest wear hijab, in Albania you can hardly see any girl wearing it. But when that is said, the girl on the pic looks good :)

yes you are right sorry for the confusion! there is 20 millions muslims in all Europe and 9 millions in the Balkans in 2003!! and 40% in Bosnia it's not so few...and why don't you speak rather of Albania where there is 70% muslims (96% according to the latest rapport in 2003)...

But that's not the point, i'm pretty sure, this nice muslimah is not from Bosnia or Albania lol...I just wanted to say that even if she is white she could be born muslim! maybe not...that's it!:)

You don't have to apologise for being trendy and she doesn't have to apologise for being classy.

Classy is not a bad word, especially when it calls people to the serenity that Islam can give them.

the color combo, the draping, the fabric combo, simply beautiful
