Um, tights and boots. I LOVE the coat and the scarf and the sister is gorgeous but boots and tights just aren't hijab in anyway to me. Repeat love the scraf and coat.
this site to me is about the variety in clothing and how to look great modestly i think people should keep nasty comments to themselves muslims are different and dont all dress the same, some people need to travel and see the world lol!!!, the girl looks lovely masha Allah, brilliant site
the girl looks lovely masha Allah i think ppl should keep critical comments to themselves muslims are different and dress differently all around the world, to stop being critical one needs to travel and broaden their horizons and not be narrow minded, great site btw
The boots are close enough to her skin color that I didn't notice the bit of stocking peeking out the top until someone pointed it out. So the overall effect isn't too too shocking. Yes, I suppose under the circumstances I'd probably lengthen the skirt. Maybe cut the coat a bit looser through the torso too. But hey, it's a great style, has a kind of retro feel to it, an effect I rarely see in hijab, and the color scheme is pretty and suitable to the style.
Hijabs High is inspired by the stylish and dynamic global community of Muslim women who fuse their identities and pronounce their place in the world everyday through beauty and fashion.
It is my hope that this blog inspires, motivates and encourages Muslims and non-Muslims alike to revisit their perceptions of the "look" of Muslim women who wear the veil and encourage us all to be a little bit more fabulous.
To the chic gang of Hijabs High photographers - you know who you are - thanks for doing it all with grace and panache. :)
Finally, Hijabs High owes a debt to The Sartorialist, who first helped focus our cameras on the everyday. Thank you.
