wow, where do I begin! The handbag is the first thing I noticed - really nice. Shoes are great. The on the outfit are an interesting detail. Really nice pallette.
oooh j'adore; absolutely LOVELY! I love the bag, the stockings with those shoes, the blazer topped off with that beautiful Turkish satin scarf. HIJABULOUS! :)
first thing I notice is that it's my old workplace, the Zaman newspaper building in Yenibosna, Istanbul - and I don't know this girl, but she could be anyone of the hundreds of Turkish ladies working there, possibly also in Today's Zaman newspaper...
I am so saddened that my comment was not posted. I really do feel imense pride for being a hijabi :-( (or maybe I didnt press POST COMMENT...who knows).
at first, i thought this outfit didnt really "match" but it doesnt have to match 2getha, it has to go 2getha, and it does!!!!!!!!!!! i looooooove that bag, & that skirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hijabs High is inspired by the stylish and dynamic global community of Muslim women who fuse their identities and pronounce their place in the world everyday through beauty and fashion.
It is my hope that this blog inspires, motivates and encourages Muslims and non-Muslims alike to revisit their perceptions of the "look" of Muslim women who wear the veil and encourage us all to be a little bit more fabulous.
To the chic gang of Hijabs High photographers - you know who you are - thanks for doing it all with grace and panache. :)
Finally, Hijabs High owes a debt to The Sartorialist, who first helped focus our cameras on the everyday. Thank you.
